Mr. Chavez was born and raised in Southern California. In 1994, Mr. Chavez moved to Northern California and attended the University of California, Berkeley were he was on the dean's list during all his semesters in attendance.  He obtained his B.A. in Chicano Studies in 1996.  Prior to that he earned an A.A. in liberal Studies from Long Beach City College were he served as a member of the Associated Student Body board. As an undergraduate and law student Luis earned numerous scholarships and accolades including the Viking Award while attending Long Beach City College

Mr. Chavez received his J.D. in 2001 from University of Southern California School of Law, where he served as board member in the La Raza Law Student Association. During law school he served as a clerk at the Legal Aid Foundation of Long Beach and the California Attorney General's Office-Land Law Section.

Prior to joining Andrade & Associates, Mr. Chavez practiced law as an associate at several prominent law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County.  He has successfully chaired several trials to verdict.  Additionally, Mr. Chavez has been the lead attorney in numerous cases adjudicated in arbitration and mediation. 

Mr. Chavez's practice includes construction, business, general civil, employment law and real estate litigation.
