Firm OverviewAndrade & Associates provides legal representation in Construction Litigation (public and private), including "changed conditions", change order and differing site condition claims, Mechanic's Lien and Stop Notice Litigation, Labor Law, including Trust Fund Litigation, Environmental Law and General Business Litigation. The firm has focused its practice on the construction industry since 1978. Our practice has been limited to representing contractors, suppliers, sureties and owners in the construction industry. We have extensive experience in all aspects of the California Judicial System, the Federal System and the American Arbitration Association. Additionally, members of our firm serve on the Board of Directors for the Engineering Contractors Association, and we are an affiliate member of the Southern California Contractors Association and the Associated General Contractors of California. The firm also acts as counsel to the Engineering Contractors Association. Mr. Andrade is a member of the Associated General Contractors Statewide Legal Advisory Committee to the construction industry, as well as a member of the Southern California Constructors Legal Advisory Committee. Mr. Andrade holds a California State Contractors License, and has been actively involved in the construction industry as an owner of a company that, over the last 10 years, has constructed in excess of 60 projects, the value of which exceeds $30 million. Andrade & Associates presently staffs attorney/engineers, who are intimately familiar with construction in general and construction litigation in particular. The firm's goal, in representing its clients, is to achieve the optimum cost-benefit result possible within the context of the facts, law and good legal representation.
